EdD Alum and Perry Local School Superintendent Kelly Schooler ’16 will share her experiences as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. Dr. Schooler’s dissertation was on Predicting Ohio Principals' Intentions and Practices Toward State Evaluation-Based Professional Growth Plans Using the Theory of Planned Behavior.

Backtrack Vocals is a 5-person a cappella group based in New York City. Their exciting arrangements transform familiar tunes and showcase the top-notch vocal and beatboxing abilities of all of the members. The group takes the stage around the nation at performing arts centers, corporate events, music festivals, schools, and more. They infuse heart and humor into every performance, and their versatile repertoire, including Top 40, Motown, classical, show tunes, original music, and more, ensures that there is something for everyone.

Hosted by the College of Pharmacy chapter of the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) 
 
Join us for our 8th Annual Heart Healthy 5K and NEW 1.5-mile Fun Walk, during the University of Findlay's Homecoming Weekend. A founding pillar within APhA-ASP is heart health, and a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. This year's Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk will feature a brand-new path that starts and finishes at the Griffith Memorial Arch on Findlay's campus to celebrate this year's homecoming theme, "Home Is Where The Arch Is" and our celebration of the 100 years of the Arch.

WLFC Radio - 50th Anniversary Celebration 

Hosted by the committee for the 50th Reunion of WLFC Radio

WLFC Radio will be celebrating 50 years of broadcasting from the University of Findlay campus during the 2023 homecoming weekend.  Current students and alumni who have experienced the excitement of being a staff member at WLFC radio will be participating in various 2023 Homecoming events.

Alumni DJs will be LIVE on the air Friday afternoon Sept 29 and prior to the homecoming football game on Saturday, Sept 30.

14th Annual University of Findlay Bands Alumni Reunion

 

The Oiler Marching Band is excited to welcome back UF Band alumni to perform with them at Homecoming! Participants are asked to wear jeans and tennis shoes, as well as the Homecoming t-shirt provided at check-in. All band instruments are welcome. Participants will rehearse with the Oiler Marching Band during their game day rehearsal and perform with the band on the field and in the stands. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, although a limited number of instruments are available to use for the day by alumni.

Rieck Center Open House

Hosted by the Rieck Center for Habitat Studies 

 

See a “wilder” side of The University of Findlay at the Rieck Center for Habitat Studies! The Rieck Center is a 54-acre living laboratory focused on environmental education. The Rieck Center is used by students and faculty for classes, student organization events, and research. The property, which includes trails, a fishing pond, bird feeders, and much more. Join us at 1:30 pm in our bird-watching room and enjoy our newly renovated patio. 

 

At 2pm, Jim McCormac, a skilled Ohio naturalist, photographer, and author, will be giving a talk on Ohio moths entitled “Gardening for Moths: The Darker Side of Butterflies”, and doing a book signing. Following the talk, Rieck Center board members will be offering informal hikes to look for wildlife. Jim McCormac’s latest book, Gardening for Moths in the Midwest, will also be available for purchase. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
