Through small moments and intentional connections, teachers can build strong relationships that foster trust, support, and commitment. Consider several practical opportunities to support learners and other educators with Jonathan Juravich, 2018 Ohio Teacher of the Year and host of the digital series "Drawing with Mr. J". Juravich will share his experiences as an artist, elementary art educator and teacher leader who focuses on the connections that bind us together.

Please join the University of Findlay College of Health Professions and guest lecturers from the Cincinnati Shriner’s Hospital for the annual pediatric continuing education event. This inter-professional educational event will focus on the multidisciplinary approach to telehealth in the pediatric population. Please join UF students and faculty in this virtual event. This is a free and open event for the public and students of all institutions. All are welcome!

Music Bach's Concert

UF's Student Activities Board proudly presents Tracy Silverman, also known as "the greatest living exponent of the electric violin". Formerly first violinist with the innovative Turtle Island String Quartet, Silverman was named one of 100 distinguished alumni by The Juilliard School. He has performed as a soloist with many of the world’s finest orchestras, and is the subject of several electric violin concertos composed specifically for him by Pulitzer winner John Adams, Terry Riley, Nico Muhly, Kenji Bunch and others as well as the composer of 3 electric violin concertos of his own. Don't miss this free concert!

Members of the Classes of 1970, 1971, 1980, and 1981 and their guests are invited to a special reunion gathering at the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on campus. University of Findlay's Mazza Museum will be open for viewing during the social hour.

Your reunion committee has worked with the following local hotels to provide a limited number of blocked rooms for the weekend. You are encouraged to reserve your room(s) ASAP, as cutoffs for the reserved block rooms usually cutoff 30 days prior to the reunion date. Homecoming 5k
7:15 a.m. check-in | Alumni Memorial Union

American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), in collaboration with UF's Track and Cross-Country Teams, are joining forces to offer a 5K promoting heart health! This year's event will allow for either "virtual" or "in -person" participation.
Virtual participation: During the first week of October(October 1st to October 8th), you'll be mailed your Oiler swag bag (if you register by Sept. 15). You will have from 10/1 through 10/8 to complete the 5K on your own - track using any fitness watch and/or app. Upload your time online!
Live Participation October 9th: Registration starts at 7:30am in the Alumni Memorial Union. The 5K will kick off at 8am. Fees: 5K Run/Walk $20; UF student with valid ID $10, if postmarked by Sept. 15. Entries are non-refundable (includes a T-shirt). All 5K Run/Walk entries received after Sept. 15 are $25 and not guaranteed a T-shirt. *Registration is required

Join Julie McIntosh, Ed.D., dean of the College of Education, Debra Parker, PharmD, dean of the College of Pharmacy, Ron Tulley, Ph.D., dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Jeff Frye, Ph.D., dean of the College of Sciences to learn about how their colleges plan to use the space in the most impactful ways.
Phi Delta Chi Toy Drive

Help St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital by joining Phi Delta Chi to gather toys during Homecoming this year! College-specific collection bins will be located in the CBSL Atrium for donations in a battle-of-the-Colleges competition. Drop off your donations all week, or join on Saturday starting at 11:30 AM for a free t-shirt during this event while supplies last.

12th Annual University of Findlay Bands Alumni Reunion
1:30 p.m. | Donnell Stadium
The Oiler Marching Band is excited to welcome back UF Bands alumni to perform with them at Homecoming! Participants are asked to wear jeans and tennis shoes, as well as the Homecoming t-shirt provided at check-in. All band instruments are welcome. Participants will rehearse with the Oiler Marching Band during their game day rehearsal and perform with the band on the field and in the stands. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, although a limited number of instruments are available to use for the day by alumni. Students, alumni, and friends are invited to a special time of worship to celebrate our faith heritage and God's hand of blessing through the years. Join us as we share the Word for the morning with current students and alumni from the Thursday Night Live Worship Band, Revive Worship Band, and the Anointed Worship Gospel Choir all coming together to lead in worship.
