Pre-Game Luncheon & Coaching Award Presentation
Before the game, join us for a special pre-game luncheon where we will present the Dr. James Houdeshell Excellence in Coaching Award and celebrate the lasting impact of UF basketball alumni in high school coaching.

Honoring Coaching Excellence: Dr. James Houdeshell Excellence in Coaching Award
During the luncheon, we will proudly present the Dr. James Houdeshell Excellence in Coaching Award, recognizing a University of Findlay basketball alumnus who has made a significant impact in coaching high school basketball. Named in honor of Dr. James Houdeshell, a revered coach, professor, and administrator, this award continues his legacy of mentorship and excellence in basketball.
The 2025 award recipient is Tyson McGlaughlin, '04, head coach of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, who has led the Titans to multiple state tournament appearances and a state championship. His dedication to his players and the game reflects the values that Dr. Houdeshell instilled throughout his career.
